When we got the idea to open 603 Burgers, the concept was pretty simple. Let's create a good old-fashioned American gourmet burger stand. Let's make it a memorable summertime place, where we create and serve incredibly awesome food that will make people come back again and again. Let's locate our business in our beloved New Hampshire ( the 603! ) that we call home. Let's show that in America, the opportunity still exists to create your own success starting with just a vision and good old hard work. Let's create a team of like-minded individuals who share our commitment to the "603 experience". And finally, let's have fun.

OK, so we started in historic Bath, NH in 2011. The customer response was immediate and enthusiastic. With almost no advertising, save for word-of-mouth, things took off. A few glowing newspaper and magazine articles helped. A couple of very successful years led us to seek other locations. When we got an opportunity to locate our second store in Rye on the fabulous New Hampshire coast, we jumped at the chance. But some soul-searching revealed that building a burger "empire" was not our goal. We wanted to keep our marriage and life simple, build a team, run a fun shop, produce a great product, and enjoy the ride. And family reasons called us to the coast. With a heavy heart, we said goodbye to Bath and hello to Rye.

Now we have a growing number of happy customers in a cool ocean beach environment. We love our state of New Hampshire. We love our community. We love family. And we love a great burger.

603 Burgers is NOT fast food. We cook to your order. So you might have to wait 10-15 minutes. But you'll find it's worth the wait. We won't settle for the ordinary. At 603 Burgers we want you to have a good time and really outstanding food at fair prices.

Our 1/3 lb. burgers are made from fresh (never frozen!) 100% Certified Brand Angus Beef. Our juicy chicken breasts are marinated and grilled here at 603. Our BIG DOG hot dogs are a full 1/4 lb. made from 100% beef and served on a toasted 6" roll. The turkey patties and veggie patties are nutritious and delightful, and our toppings are always fresh, Our fries are hand-cut by 603 using Western russets and cooked in 100% trans-fat free oil. And our frappes and floats are yummy. And for an added treat we now offer fantastically rich ice cream from a regional family farm.
